In case Aadhaar card isn’t ready or if somebody is not willing to share Aadhaar details, then offline account opening is the best option. Account opening forms are available with brokers or can be availed from your nearest Upstox branch office.

Print the form and fill it up with all details and put in your signature wherever “X” is assigned.
Paste your current passport sized photo in page no. 4 and sign it across.
According to the choice of segment you want to trade / invest, fees amount of the same should be drawn in form of a cheque payable to “RKSV Securities Pvt Ltd”.
Along with the filled up application form, you need to attach a proof of identity and address proof in form of photocopies of appropriate documents and send it to the following address:

On receiving your details a company representative will contact you to take the process forward. A KYC form might also be required to be filled up. Make sure you fill up the nominee details in the application form correctly. Later in-person verification will be conducted to check and validate your details. On completion of the entire process,
Upstox will provide you a Beneficiary Owner Identity (BOID) or Unique Client Code (UCC), so that you can start enjoying their awesome trading platform. Opening online account with Upstox is very simple and doesn’t take more than 15 minutes.
The paperless eKYC process is relatively easy, convenient and hassle free. But the prerequisite is that your Aadhaar should be linked with your mobile number in order to open online Upstox account. Visit official website of Upstox and click “Open Demat Account” tab or alternatively click this link and key in your email id and mobile number in order to generate OTP.
After OTP verification you need to provide PAN and Aadhaar card details, to which many pre-filled sections would appear on your screen. Complete the online form by providing all required details.
Upload the scanned documents needed and then you will be redirected to payment gateway.
Pay the fees based on the segment you want to trade in. Review and submit the application form. Within few minutes, Upstox will send you an email with 2 attachments of a Demat form and a PoA (Power of Attorney) form.
Within next 24 hours of account activation, you will be assigned a user ID and password for accessing your Upstox account post which you can enjoy seamless trading on Upstox platform with cheapest brokerage.
